I just got my iPhone at the apple store about 3 hours ago. Its synced and has all my apps and music. But I still dont have a signal. The apple guy told me they were being slow only like 45 mins though. Should I take it in tomorrow?

I recall this from earlier Day Ones. Should be OK by tomorrow; if not take it in.

Does it say anything about no SIM card?

Did you sync the phone at home?
If you did, did you choose to backup from your old iphone?
If you did, you need to restore the phone and then select new iphone when itunes prompts you. Then you can back-up and sync your info from the info stored in itunes.

My iphone 4 wont turn back on. I am trying to restart it but it says no sim card installed. Insert a valid sim with no PIN Lock to activate phone. any suggestions?

My iPhone 4 is only 3 months old, and it has the very same problem. All of a sudden, it fell out and when putting it on again, it says no sim card installed. Syncing or restore from iTunes fails.
Very, very frustrating. After 3 months and numerous problems with my iPhone 4 (yes, antennagate is so true), Im seriously considering buying Android Phones for my enterprise.
