I lost various notes, but not all, back to Feb 6th. I sync both my iPhone 3GS and my Mac Mini with Mobile Me. Ive checked Mail.app on my Mac Mini, Notes on my iPhone 3GS, and Mobile Me. All three places have the same (meaning all 3 have lost many notes I have entered over the past two months).
This s u c k s !
Can anyone help ?
Is there anyone at Apple I can chat/call to ask about this issue? Id like to get my notes back!!!!!!!!!
thanks,
mike.

Hi there..
i got headache reading everywhere to find a solution to my problem, and didnt find any useful tips so far, i havent slept for the past 24 hours because of this..
last day i did an update to my itunes to the latest version, and upgraded my iphone, while doing that my iphone got an error that it couldnt be updated and got stuck on recovery mode, and itunes asked me to do a restore to factory sitting, which i did, but in the last few seconds it just shows an error message that it cant update, and i get error 10, so i did what the manual said and tried using another computer which fortunately worked..
so i return to my first computer and tried to restore my backup files, and then i faced another problem, there was not enough space on my hard drive, i kept moving files away, deleting others and trying again, and every time i try, it takes up more space and i end up with few Kb on the drive.. i didnt know what to do, and got confused i think i click on back up instead of sync at some point, and when i realized that i hurried and unplugged the USP from the iphone, and in that moment a 3GB worth of data disappeared from my hard drive (i think it was the data the ituens kept creating while restoring back up) and a new back up worth 5mb was created on my back up folder..
now what i have on my iphone are my contact list, and my notes ..
what i dont have is 6 months worth of pictures and videos taken from the iphone, and my apps that are worth around $40 - $50
i read that iphone sync your data before doing a full restore, and i found 3 files on my back up folder one is 902 mb, secound 1.06GB and the third is 508 MB the first two dating todays date on 8:03 AM, the last one is also today on 6:33 AM which was the time i unplugged my USP from my iphone (i think)
iv downloaded a program called iPhone Backup Extractor and saw that these folders contain all contacts, 300+ calender stuff and some messages (which i totally dont care for)but the photos and videos are marked None T_T
the question im asking is, how can i restore those lost pictures and videos, since they are very important to me, and how can i get my apps back?? iv tried going to app store and downloading Whatsapp which i bought before, but now it asks me to pay again!!!
i have some apps that is worth $5 and $10 each, i wouldnt mind paying for $.99 app again, but i cant pay more for an already paid app for that much yet again!!
by the way I have a windows Xp which im using, the restore worked on a windows 7 laptop
Plz help me, im starting to have a stomachache because all of this other than my headache T_T

All glass will scratch. The glass is scratch-resistant, not scratch-PROOF

Any substance can scratch. The glass in the iPhone 4 is more resistant, but it still can be scratched in the right circumstances.
Just to check, and apologies if this seems to be dumb question on my part, but its come up before: you did remove the plastic shipping film that I believe was on the screen, yes?

Nope and I have a 2 year old 3G that is all scuffed up. The only thing that looks pristine on it is the screen. I would hope the iPhone 4s screen is at least as durable as the 3Gs.

Nope. Screen protector and rubber case went on immediately as I pulled it out of the box. None of my phones ever have had a scratch or scuff as I always do that. I cant imagine getting a scratch on my phone, Id definitely have to sell it and buy a new one as itd drive me nuts.

What I came up with is a series of hardware checks that anyone can perform right after taking an iPhone 4 out of the box and syncing it for the first time. This is by no means the only way to test an iPhone 4s hardware for defects, and there are probably more comprehensive methods out there, but the following procedure is basic enough for almost any user to follow. Plus, it should catch any glaring hardware defects in an iPhone 4 right away. Click "Read More" for the checklist.
